Partners PACCC is a 2019 community partner of Visual Communications. Visual Communications’ mission is to develop and support the voices of Asian American and Pacific Islander filmmakers and media artists who empower communities and challenge perspectives. Founded in 1970 with the understanding that media and the arts are powerful forms of storytelling, Visual Communications creates cross cultural connections between peoples and generations. HOA is a 2-day Festival showcasing the heritage of Hawai’i & Polynesia with island cuisine, an outdoor marketplace, cultural workshops, and continuous music and dance on a big stage. Each year PACCC partners with HOA to host cultural workshops from islands around the moana. The Ho’oilina Foundation provides grants, scholarships and/or resource assistance to support groups and individuals of California who are continuing the Polynesian culture through art, music, dance, education and recreation.
